Welcome to Harleston Place a small enclave of mostly townhomes communities of downtown Charleston SC. Located off Lockwood Ave & Beaufain St in the most sought after zip code in South Carolina. The townhouses come in two different design styles, as they were built in two different phases by two different developers. All with raised brick foundations with drive under parking. The earlier phase was started in 1983-1984 and are smaller. The second phase was in 1993, and these townhomes also feature elevators. All homes have a small fenced "courtyard" in the rear.
As the name implies, the
neighborhood is in the Harleston
Village neighborhood of Charleston SC. The community is across from the
Ashley Cooper River off Lockwood Dr, and is convenient to the city Marina for those who
have boats. A new Publix grocery was just opened at West Edge only a .25 mile
away.
